Just bought it! And have a question.

Hi everybody. I just yesterday picked up a 2002 silver wrx sedan and I friggin love it. So happy I was able to get it, and considering I"m only 18 that just adds to how excited I am. No worries though, mommy and daddy aren't paying hte bills. That aside. One of the little tiny lights on the outer side of the headlights is out. I don't know how to get to it, almost seems like you'd have to take the fender off or take the headlight out, the latter probably being easier. Maybe I'm missing something.......Dunno, thanks.

Of the 3 bulbs contained within the headlight assembly, changing the parking lamp bulb is the most involved. The headlight assembly must be removed. It is detailed on pages 11-59 through 11-61 of your Owner's Manual. It looks like all you need are basic hand tools to remove the front grille, grille trim pieces (between the grille and headlight), and the headlight assembly but the Owner's Manual states that you MIGHT have to re-aim the assembly after re-installation. I'd still give it a try but maybe you could line up your headlamp aim on a wall or garage door and mark the tire position and lighting spots on the wall with masking tape, just in case you have to re-aim.
