PIAA =Overpriced and overhyped. Suggest you do a little reading B4 rushing out looking for bulbs. Look here and sit back for some lessons in lighting. It's not all about "LOOKS". Not just my opinion.

OK. but I still recommend you take a look at Mr Stern's site to pick up some great info. The Sylvania SilverStars are drawing a lot of good feedback of late, and run about $40-50 a pair. If you plan to run over-wattage bulbs it's worthwhile to look into an HD Harness as well. happy hunting!

Get the PIAA extreme whites. I have had these bulbs for over a year with no problems (ie burnt wire harness and or blown bulbs). Its all a matter of preference tho...

Sylvania Xenon Halogens
I had the very same problem. I do a ton of driving at night going back and forth to school on weekends and in my opinion the stock headlights suck. I did some research and Sylvania has a line called "silver star" and it's a HUGE improvement. the bulbs are $15 to $25 a piece depending on where you buy them and you can get a $10 rebate most places too.
Another good bulb from what I've heard is made by philips called "pure vision" but the only way to order it is from a european dealer and the website is horrible and I still can't tell if they make them for the WRX, but I know they work well 'cause I have a friend with them on his Jetta.
The silver stars are as bright and clear a bulb as you can get in a halogen and the closest thing to HID without droping $500 for a conversion kit. you can pick them up at any parts place, I got mine at autozone.
also sylvania's website is really cool, they have a form where you enter the year make and model of your car and it tells you EVERY bulb in the car and the bulb number and raiting. as well as what bulbs you can up grade it with. very usefull.

I hope this helps
