Busted Headlight! Looking for ideas.

Does anyone have any ideas for an upgrade besides the Morette headlights? Im looking for instructions on how to paint the inside of the stock ones black. Im even thinking of HID. Its a GC body. Any ideas welcome.

Car Info: GF8 ver6

on GC, your choice is pretty much limited to morettes or stock
OEM choices are 97-98 or 99-01
I kinda like 97-98 cuz WRC cars and 22B was using.
There was cheap Morette wannabee on market but Im not sure about the quiality.

I thought so, but i dont think ive seen those lights yet. do you have a pic? I was thinking of keeping them stock, since they dont look all that bad. Thanks though.

yhea i painted mine black basicly same ins. as doing the wrx lights. there are tons of instructions everywhere. got mine from scoobymods.com. ill try to find the page and post it. heres a pic of mine.

scoobymods has how to paint the lights black.

Thanks a bunch fellas. This is helping me alot. Thats exactly the look i was looking for. Will the seal hold up with water? Ill look for the thread, but if you guys find it, can u post it? thanks again.

u have to reheat the housing before puting it back together. this procedure creates a new seal with the same sealant already there. no probs with mine in the rain or moisture.

take some bendable heating ducted pipe and point it towards your air intake

Are those stock headlamps? If not, where did you purchase them? Would they work on a 1995 subaru impreza?

i've seen "angel" eyes on a gc8 before on i-club. looks really nice, and is rather cheap.

Look in the galery and I belive Black2.5RS did it to his car and they work/look great.

yhea i took off the stock ones i painted black here on this post and got the angle eyes. very happy
