Bride vs Sparco

Title says it all. I have been told the Brides don't caucasians well. I didn't say that, just repeating it. How does the Sparco Torino fare against the Bride Ergo? The Torino is about $370 cheaper (pair price).

I tried the Bride Ergos down at SG and I'm too fat(36 waist) for them. I believe Sparco Torinos are a bit wider and cost less but Bride is pretty JDM

******OOOPS, .... this is Sean, not Mike.**

neither, ..... Recaro's!!

but if you mention Recaro's to Farid, ... he's gonna be like "what's with you guys and Recaro's!??" (I just ask for them a lot! )

... and what I don't like that much about the Sparco's is that they just don't feel that supportive (we're talking about reclinables)

Particular Recaro model?

I'm open to any suggestions for a seat/seats. The wife will kill me, so I want the best (or nearly the best).

Yep,

I've been surfing prices on the SRD and whatever comes after that.

Found on-line.

I used both a Recaro SRD and the WRX seat. Both work very well. Larger, taller drivers will prefer the Subaru WRX seat. Those under 5'8" and 160lbs. will be happier with the Recaro SRD.

SPD Tuning Service sells only Subaru and Recaro. Experience has proven that in three to four years time these seats are still in good shape while other seats are a gross disappointment every time you open your car door. Recaro owners often take their seat to a new car when selling their exiting ride.

I don't know which model Sparco's you're thinking of, but I've sat in a few models and can they're kind of a pain when you're shoulder checking. The comfy bolstering just gets your face haha. Of course, combine that with the fact that I was shoulder in an SW20 MR2 and it's a particularly bad combination. And Bride's aren't meant for us big boys

From my few experiences and what I've heard from others recaro and bride reclinables are in a different league than sparco but a lot depends on the size of the person.

By the way islandx has a sweet brix waiting for some rails.....

S2000 Joey

has a set of Bride one-piece seats he got for $440 each on a group buy. I sat in them and they're nice. I don't need reclinable but my wife will want it.

HELP!

Im need seats for my STi, the factory ones look great but suck in every way possible.

My current choices are the
JIC MAGIC, Blitz GT-3, Bride Brix II or Bride Ergo II

Heres the web sit for the JIC, they look good.
http://www.speedalliance.com/interio...ml#JIC%20Magic

However looks really dont matter i guess. I need lots of support for Auto-x and just driving fast everywhere else. If you know anything about these seats please give me your feed back. Not just "hey those are cool" comments. I dont want to make an expensive mistake. Thanks

PS: Those takakaira seats listed by PUSH2 look pritty interesting, but ive never heard of them before
