Boost gauge install help....
Hay,
I got a mechanical boost gauge (45mm) that I want to install on my stearing colum. Im looking for some info on how to get the top of the colum off to mount the gauge pod, and I nead to know what wires to splice into with my gauge to enable the light in it. Any ideas were to look for this info?

To get the light to come on it depends if you want it on all the time or just when the headlights are on. If you want it on all the time(or don't really care if it is on during the day) just turn your ignition off, then turn it on and find a wire that is carrying a load when it is on and then no load when it is off. I am not sure as to what exact wires(colors and location) but it should be easy enough to find a hot wire when the ignition is on.
