boost guage install

umm its one of the easiest mods to install. Plz fill us in on what type of gauge you baught, mech or elec. Also check scoobymods.com they have full tutorials with pics on how to install parts.

lol turn the caps off. Anyways thats a mech gauge. So just buy a T fitting and cut the vac hose coming off the bov. Put the T hose in and then get a 1/4 to 1/8 connector and connect the boost line to that. Run it through the firewall into the car. Then to hook up the gauge lighting you will need to tap into a power source. There are 2 bolts to get the bottum of the dash off. Once under tap into a 12v source and run the other wire which is the ground to a good ground point. This all sounds confusing so goto www.scoobymods.com and look for the post on installing a boost gauge.
