Anybody used this wing?
just ordered one
i just ordered one from this ebay seller on the 5th, the one i ordered comes painted though. Im optimistic about the quality due to the fact that they have many good reviews and few bad ones on ebay. If you read all the info they also claim that it is OEM certified as a replacement part for the factory wing. If you want to wait ill update you when i get/install it.

Replica's suck. I say you get what you pay for. I was going to get one on Ebay but just decied to get a OEM subaru one. I paid close to $600 but damn its great quality and fit perfect on my 03 wrx.

well, I should finally be getting this spoiler today or tomorrow, FedEx tried to drop it off yesterday but nobody was home. Yesterday was 31 days from the day they recieved my payment(obviously they are not the fastest company to deal with), I will update you on how it looks when I get it as well as how easy it installs(should be doing it saturday).
alright, i picked up the spoiler from fedex today(and after what i had to go through to get this thing from them i have no faith in fedex anymore, they really suck at what they do). looks great, the paint job is perfect, i would imagine its better than a subaru paint job. the instructions for intstallation appear to be pretty complete and straightforward, i dont forsee any problems putting it on. so now i can take my $200 that i saved by buying a "sucky replica"(which looks exactly the same as a real one, and as i said i would venture a guess that the paint job is a little more durable) and put it towards a tbe or something else.
ill try and post some pics after i get it on the car.

alright, so i finally got it the car here are some pics:

couple things about installation.
1.they give you a couple of stands that go on each end with 3 holes in each, i think these might be so that you can mount it on another car, throw them away.
2.the trunk has ALOT of steel reinforcing on it, the hardware they give you does not take this into account(the screws are not long enough). so, you either have to get some new hardware, or cut out sections of this reinforcing so that the screw heads can make it all the way to the underside of the trunk.
3.they give you strips that plug into all of the mounting points(14 of them), you(very lightly) tape them to the underside of the wing place the wing where you want it on the trunk, tape the strips to the top of the trunk, pull the spoiler up leaving the strips in place on the trunk. this is how you locate the holes. this was pretty easy, the only advice i would give is to do this before you put the provided gaskets on the mounting locations(the tape will stick to these gaskets better than it will to your trunk making the spoiler a little harder to pull off).
i still have to connect the brake light, im wondering if somebody here could save me some trouble and tell me which wire i need to tap into for it. thanks.
