Any wrx's have HID legal issues?

So I am getting HIDs next week and I wanted to see how many wrx's have been pulled over for hid's.
I don't think its gonna be a big deal. I am just going with 6000*k lights. I was thinking of putting in a fake
leveling switch just to look more legit.

I have read the ballast have an ''e'' on them if they are from the factory and they have a leveling switch.

Anyway, let me know so I know what to expect.

I have 6000k HID kit for my EDM bugeyes. Never had any issues. I took my sweet time aiming them. I had my friends drive in front of me to make sure they aren't blinding people.

For yellow fogs, if the blobeye fog lights also uses H3 bulbs, I recommend the Yellow Piaa bulbs. They're expensive, but also REALLY nice.

I had HID fogs and 8000k HID low beams in my WRX. Just adjust the beam level so you're not blinding everyone on the road and you should be fine.

make sure to disable your drl's though or else they will never turn off, and try to get a battery harness too, sometimes one light wont come on.

the stock wiring doesnt shoot up enough power to turn them on sometimes hence why a battery harness is needed

i driving my WRX and my old legacy for total 10 years, all the time with HID, i live in san francisco, never got trouble or pull over, only trouble is before i convert my 02 wrx's headlight to projector headlight, people will highbeam me all the time, due to 50w hid is too bright and blinding them. but other then that, no trouble at all.
