After market fog lights for 99 2.5gt?

I recently decided to purchase fog lights and found them to be fairly expensive and not bright. I want ones which are brighter than the stock ones and maybe better price? Any suggestions? If no after market, is there a place to get better parts and prices than the dealership. Any specific links?

does your car have the GT bumper or the L?

you'll need the GT bumper.

I just bought a set of JDM lights for my '97 GT similar to these: http://tinyurl.com/8pg3t

They arrived today from Malaysia but they're bigger than US stock fogs and don't want to fit. Interesting thing about that ebay listing is the seller suggests it may be necessary to make modifications to install them. What's the story on this? Did I buy something that won't work? Do I need to break out the chainsaw? Are there specific lights or years/models that CAN work? At least I'm glad I didn't pay what this guy's asking for his. Thanks for any assistance!

There seems to be a lack of information on how JDM foglights compare to the US Legacy version, so hopefully these photos will help with the process. I haven't done the installation yet -- still considering the options.

For anyone who's not a Subaru Legacy International member -- http://www.sl-i.net -- where this is posted: Light measurements are ~ 11" x 3 3/8" US vs. 11" x 4 1/4" on the Japanese foglights and they're much deeper as well, so there's a fair chunk of extra height that needs to be found. Much of the cutting needs to be done along the outward side of the bumper light opening. Also, these specs don't include any additional clearance that might be required for custom mounting hardware.
