Additional 40Amp draw?

Any body know if the 02' WRX can run its high beams some interior lights, and additional 34 Amps of draw?

If it can't, how much can it handle?

I am looking to run 4 x Bosch Ralley 225 lights + rally computer on a stock 02' WRX. Both the computer and additional lights will run directly off the battery. The computer might even run off the lighter jack.

that will be taxing on your alternator. your lights will dim when your AC compressor kicks in. if you run it for short periods of time you will be okay.

I saw a post on a high power alternator either here or on NASIOC not too long ago....maybe search a bit and see if you can find it...there was a link to the supplier.
