My AC works but when its on the car lurches. I took it to the dealer and they say the compressor is binding. Is there any way to remedy the problem short of spending over 600 dollars to get it replaced? I understand I can't do it myself because of the Freon? Any ideas? Thanx

 

its supposed to lurch a little, and at first the dealer didn't even notice, they're pretty slow... but mine keeps doing it over and over, and it is bigger lurches then it should be, so I don't know if yours is doing it too, I'd just recommend having the dealer check, but mine cost 50 just to finally find it, and they barely did, it was their 3rd drive. I notice it a lot though
