3M fog light protectors - anyone tried them?
I'm looking for any reviews of the 3M fog light protectors:
http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=176
For anyone has tried them - how effective do they seem? Do they impair fog light performance at all?

This is the same as Xpel which is available directly at www.xpel.com
If you buy the uncut sheets and cut them out yourself it is much cheaper, about $15 for a 1-sq. ft. sheet. Measure the diameter of the fogs to see if you need one or two sheets.
I don't have it on my fogs because I have the hard plastic snap-on covers for them, but I do have Xpel on my Morettes, and I have also used it on another car in the past. It is highly effective, does not affect light output at all, and will remain clear over time. It is also very difficult to detect unless you are up close to the vehicle and looking right at the lights.
