2004 WRX gauge pod interchangable with 2002???

2004 WRX gauge pod interchangable with 2002???
The 2004 WRX has a different gauge pod than the 2002/2003. The tach is now in the center instead of to the right. Anyone know if the 2004 setup can be put into the 2002 with out any problems? Also the subaru dealership says that the setup is in 2 pieces, the fuel and temp are one piece, and the speedo and tach are another. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
