Does anyone know anything about installing the 2003 Center Gauge Housing in a 2.5RS? It seems different than the ones i've seen pictures of on other years. Taller, closer to the size of a 2 DIN radio opening? It also doesn't seem like it would fit depth wise. The part numbers match the ones Subaru has listed for the 2003 2.5RS center gauge housing though.

It has 5 parts, the upper housing, a lower "lip" which attaches to the front of the housing. A bracket about the size of a din opening with an angled slot in it and 2 white nylon spacers on the sides, and then 2 metal brackets which read "NAVI RH SA" and "NAVI LH SA". Also 2 sets of screws. Anyone have the Subaru install info for these? Or know if somehow I got the wrong parts with the Impreza gauge housing numbers?

Haven't gotten any replies from anyone elsewhere, so I guess if not I just start trying to figure out how to make it fit.

 

It sounds like you may have the wrong parts. Do you have the part number off the box that it came in? Did you just get the housing, or the gauges as well?

 

Yup, it was the wrong parts. The box had the right numbers on it, but the parts inside turned out to be the gauge housing for a Forester. Got a new housing on order now. I think someone stuck the wrong part number barcode sticker on the box on me.
