hi my passenger side door wont open from the outside with the key..like wen i shake the door i hear something lose..so does anyone no how to take apart and fix the passenger door for a '98 rs coupe?

 

assuming its the same as 99 imprezas, you simply unscrew two screws, ones in the lower back (rear of car direction) and ones where the window controller is. Once you remove these, take off the trip around the door handle, then theres a plastic boltish thing (two pieces of plastic that when pushed together expand). After than you'll want to go around pulling it out, its just a bunch of plastic thingy's that will pop out w/ a little pressure. Then slide it upwards cuz theres little metal "hooklike" things that hold it tight be the window and your done.

If my directions are confusing, ask for clarrification, but I think its pretty simple once you start doing it. Just don't force anything, it should come off fairly easily. GL
