05 wrx cleared healights where can i get them?
i did a search an only came up with ppl doing them on thier own i would like to get a complete cleared set so i could switch back to get a ticket written off if or when i get one. thanks
jdm... but thats probably more illegal technically.
or buy a set from someone who has done the mod...
you shouldnt have problems with the law from de-oranged headlights... unless you have blue bulbs for turnsignals or something.

i was once in your shoes. but if you read the detailed set of instructions a few times it's really not so bad. the only reason you are putting them in the oven is to heat up/loosen up the caulk that seals the two sides together.
after you pry it up, it's real easy to pop those amber pieces out.
like i said, just last week i said the exact same thing. but after reading, i decided to go ahead and do it. the result was great, and it even rained yesterday to test the seal. NO FOGGING. i think if i can do it, you can do it!
if there's a will, there's a way

i really is easier than you think. just go to your local home depot and buy some silicon in a tube (black). Put a nice layer around the original caulk and they will seal up nicely. Jsut be extra careful when pulling out the orange pieces as the housing is thin and can crack easily.
