Anyone know for sure if a 02 trunk lid will fit on a 06. I got tired of waiting for a color matched lid to pop up & decided to buy & repaint. I found a 02 lid for a good price, but wasnt sure if it'd bolt on. They look identical, but?

Yesterday we did a three way swap. 06 tr trunk with wrx wing went on an 03. 03 wingless went on an 05 STi. 05 STi went on the 06. All fit perfect. The only issue is the springs because the weight of the wigns are different and you have to change out the locking mechanism or whoever had the trunk before you can open it up.

 

Thx for the help guys. I'm having the lock cylinder filled at the same time. I figured you'd guys would know for sure & I'd rather make sure now than after its completed.
