the best material to make bumpers out of has got to be kevlar.

titanium or magnesium

molding kevlar is no more difficult than molding carbon fiber, as well.

for titanium you can hit up "titanium joe" for sheets, bars and tubing.

nah, you could do it fairly reasonable, just depends how high tech you want it to be

you just need a tunnel, some fans, sensors, a computer, a daq card, and some wires
