Prosport Boost Gauge

Hi all.
Is anyone familiar with the Prosport Evo Series boost Gauge? I found it online somewhere, but haven't heard of too many who have used one. I like it simply for the fact that it is an all digital gauge.

Any thoughts/comments?

Not a fan of the look of the digital ones. I have the analog Halos and they work great so far.

someone told me that it's really hard to read a digital gauge (readings change all the time and all you can see is blinking numbers)...don't know

The EVOs have a bar indicator that goes around the numbers too, so you can see that at least, but the numbers will constantly be changing yes.

How long have you had your Halos? I actually really like those too, and decided to get one! Have you heard of anyone else having issues? I read somewhere on nasioc of some people having troubles with them (maybe earlier versions).

I've had the boost gauge for over a year with no issues. The oil pressure was just installed a few months ago.

Digitals are all over the board although they do tell you the exact at the time. I just installed an OG stepmaster26b defi in the car. Love it.

I ended up getting the Prosport Halo Series boost gauge! I actually really like this one! Easy to install [although it took me forever for being overly OCD]

It has three colors to choose from for back lighting. I like the white as the amber doesn't quite match up with the 2011 cluster.

If they are anything like their other gauges quality wise, I'd avoid em.

instructions

I have my prosport (oil press and oil temp) mounted on my smy cluster and aem wideband and boost gauges mounted in the smy cluster pods. Going to be making a change though, moving the prosports to the cups and mounting the aem gauges in the perrin mounts on steering wheel bezel. You can find instructions for all prosport gauges here : http://prosportgauges.com/instructions.aspx
