...and if one of the lids has a light, see where it's plugged in, when you put it on the other car, there will be a plug in the same place.
what kind of lid are you swaping? WRX & N/A = don't worry about it, but STi have heaveir torsion bars that you may want to swap out too...
and don't forget the locks, so many people do...

hey i have a question...
if you just wanna change the oem trunk lid for a carbon one, do i have to remove everything ; torsion bar , and every other crap from the car itself , or only the trunk lid ???
It seems that it would take a complete freakin day just to puta carbon trunk on my car from the picture i look at...
Can someone tell me how many hours to install a carbon trunk instead of the oem?

it'll take about an hour, about 45 with a friend. you want a friend to hold the trunk, makes things alot easier and you won't have to worry about scratches dings or bumps on the head.
there are three torsion bars that i know of, for oem trunkless, wrx wing and sti wing. there is a huge difference in the amount of force. if you don't get the proper one or combination (ie one sti bar or two trunkless bars) than your trunk may not open enough or may swing open with damaging force.
it would not be good if your trunk swung open smacking someone in the face or worse: bent and cracked part of your new carbon trunk.
you'll have to ask what combo torsion bars others have used with your particular carbon trunk with or w/o wing
