STi Splitters Question!!

Hey there folks, I'm just thinking of finally ordering some sti splitters for my wagon... first mod i ever wanted but have neglected for too long now!!

My question for those who have is, my wagon's front bumper sags just a tiny bit as a couple of the oem bolts going through the actual bumper plastic/into the black plastic lining wall got knocked off at some point, hence the lining of the front wheel well is not 100% attached to the bumper...

So basically has anybody else encountered this/gone on and done the splitters anyway, the bumper hasnt gotten any worse over the 2 years ive had the car and the inner lining doesnt really move either, just wondering if the splitters would add some damaging weight(and make it sag more) or not fit since the lining isnt 100% attached to the bumper plastic, all the holes are still there though and as far as i can tell the hardware/bolts that the splitters come with just need to go through the actual bumper holes.

SHOULD I GO FOURTH?? i just dont want to end up with an even more saggy front bumper on my lowered wagon... let me know what you veterans think, i'd appreciate it a ton, thanks!!

I would try to make it flush somehow. I notice over time a lot of the front bumpers on Subies and in general at that will start to sag. What I did was find some nice and thick clips to pop in place so that it doesn't sag.

The splitters weigh next to nothing. The bolts you use to mount them prob weigh more.

appreciate the opinions, yeah i was thinking some clips would be a decent option, and good to know yeah i figure the splitters couldnt do much in the end since they're real lightweight

If they are just for show, go for it. If you are looking for improved performance, you'll need to do some wind-tunnel testing with different mounting angles to find the optimum down force.

Fix your bumper first.

Have you read the install instructions for those? There are a few videos and well documented instructions on the web. You actually have to remove some of the studs on the splitters to install them correctly on a non-STI bumper, but you do still use the clips on the top edge.
