Rally armor mud flaps without fender liners?

Rally armor mud flaps without fender liners?
I have an 05 wrx and the fender liners were removed by previous owner....will the RA mud flaps still mount up without any issues or are the fender liners needed?
I think they will. IIRC, when I installed mine, you put the little plastic things for the screws right where the clips for the liner would go. Hopefully someone will have a clearer answer.
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Yes, I am pretty sure it should work as mentioned above. I don't recall what it looks like behind the liner, but you should be able to use the same attachment point.
