how to: change brakes on gc?

im already getting the annoying skreetching sound when i depress them. but my pedal is pretty much almost all the way down... does that mean that when i change the pads, i should change the rotors as well? dont really know but would like to learn. thanks everyone.
ps. anyone got any pads or rotors for sale?

Hmmm. The Subaru's have always had mushy brakes. As for you question about changing brakes components, it isn't hard at all. Surprisingly, very simple. You should probably change all the things at the same time. So... do your front pads, front rotors, and brake fluid.

sorry dave... it was more-so an impulsive thing. like i took off the steelies hoping to cut my springs, but ended up not cutting and just buying new pads and installing them within 2 hours....it woulda been faster, had it not been for those idiotic checkers employees. geez. they hire ANYONE huh?

Don't cut your springs. There are GC springs out there. Hit up Mann Engineering. They have a spring specifically designed for the GC's.
