bondo?
Bondo might not help a crack. It works well as a filler. It's quite simple, sand the surface where you are going to apply it, use a heavier grit to rough it up. This give the bondo something to stick too. Then slap that crap on there, apply it to the front and the back if possible. Apply it about one inch on either of the crack. Once it's hard/cured, sand it down to the contours of the grille. Use something thin enough that will bend around the shape and wrap your sand paper around it. Sand as much off as possible, you only need enough to fill the gap and contiune the contour. Sand in stages, heavy, medium, light. Maybe 80. 120, 220, 300 or wet sand. Apply primer, wet sand, spray away.
