I'm replacing this tomorrow and I was wondering if anybody knows if you need a special tool to remove the axle from the transmission. Thank you for your help

^yup. I've replaced my tranny twice. It's not hard. There's a pin in the inner side of the axle u have to punch out. That's about the only tricky thing u will deal with if u don't know what you r doing. Good luck with the installment. I can do it for u for 100 bucks if u want. Haha.

Haha yeah. Just young and stupid. I got my car when I was 18 and got into the race scene.(bad choice). Built a reputation and a bunch of people called me out and being the person I am I couldn't back out. Now that I think of it I should of raced for money to pay for my parts. It took me twice to learn. But if you need a tranny rebuilt I know a guy. He's hella cool and has good prices. He works for santa Cruz Subaru. Just let me know so I can hit him up.

Anyone know a freelance Subaru mechanic looking to do some side work?

I need a major 90k, timing belt, water pump and spark plugs but don't feel like I should be robbed either....
