Smile XBox 360 RRoD REPAIRS!!

Hey guys. Now that I am moved into my place i am gonna start up my "Baby Business" of 1 hr xbox 360 RRoD Repair (Red ring of death). Granted I have no guarantee that my repair will fix your xbox (27 successful and 1 non successful(little ****ing xbox haunts me)). Now this repair is for all Xbox 360s prior to this new touch sensitive kinect one. Only because I have never worked on one of those and have no experience. If you have one that happens to be broken feel free to contact me and i would be more than happy to learn. But yeah so its $40 for I-Clubbers. So spread the word yo 757-287-6289

Do you clear all of the dust from every component and change out the X brackets with machine screws and clean both chips and put new thermal compound on them?

Not to rain on your parade, but xbox will warranty you 360's for free. I was eligable after over a year maybe two cant remember, just give them a call and they run your serial #'s. It happaned on two of my machines and both were replaced with new xbox's. GLW everything though..aloha.

I wouldnt say that your "replacing internal hardware".

Are you doin the xclamp removal/thermal paste for all the rrOd boxes you've worked on?

Or do you pull the secondary code first to narrow down the issue?

What would be good is if you can do hardware mods for the 360 to play "backup-ed" games on DVDs or save to your harddrive....

I have an old Xbox that'll play Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Neo-Geo, and all the older console games saved as ROMs on DVDs.....

You run the risk of microsoft banning your system when you mod it to play back-up games. Just a warning.

(really only an issue if you play online tho)

my xbox has been sitting for a year, dead with the RROD. is it really that simple of cleaning it, replacing the screws and putting new thermal paste on it????
if so, then i feel like a moron for not bothering to even google the fix...

Basically the whole RRod problem is overheating and why most modders add better or more fans to the Xbox and 360..

Taking out the X-frame and buying some screws and nuts, cleaning and reapplying arctic silver on the processor usually solves the problem..
Check out Youtube for visual instructions and parts list....
