also the RS hood is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY heavier than the WRX hood though. Just thought I'd let you know josh. Not trying to stop you from giving away free stuff though warren

 

i understand about the weight. but i totally DON'T need a scoop at all. We talked a while back Warren. Let me make some phone calls n stuff. I read about some ways to "help" the rs hood weigh a little less. but anyways, pass word. I'm kinda worried about how much it would be to paint

 

well you could remove the skeleton of the hood which would tremendously reduce the weight but it would also make it less safe. there is also that hoodscoop delete

 

in the condition its in i couldnt see how it would cost much at all as a matter of fact if you need to have it paint ready ill help you out with that too!!

 

Do you know how to spray? I could make it a full project. I've never prepped or painted anything

nah for real though if you want to do it its super easy!! the condition of this hood is killer just a nice sanding...wet sand and primer/paint and bam there you go!!
