There's quite a lot of planning on my part first before I start. First, I have to start stripping the interiors of both vehicles (which I've already started). My first goal is to get the STi stripped. Once all that is done, then people can come and pick off parts that I'm not going to need. Then, I still have to find engine stands and a engine hoist to use for a few months...then all the swapping will commence. It's not an easy task and it all depends on manpower and availability
Dave might be able to help with the big tools. Are you swapping interior and everything? Motor and trans shouldn't take too long... 20 hrs maybe.. Depends on how fubard the wiring is I would imagine.
Anyway, like I said. Im just looking to get some mote experience with this stuff, I've done a motor swap so I'm not completely useless! Lmk!

nope we are doing dash and all.. have to weld up the old holes on the firewall for the a/c and heater core and cut out new ones.
the wiring like that is easy just have to change headlight and tail light plugs and door plugs

lifts are the way to go! on top of that it is so much easier to drop a frame onto a motor and tranny, than to use a engine hoist from above.
but if you dont have access to a lift I understand.

I still have the shell. Doors are still on the car and there's a lot of crap inside. If you wanna tow it out of my yard, let me know...we can talk about it.
Nice wanted to do sedan rear conversion on my 04 wagon, hence wanting the doors and quarters. Unfortunately I wouldn't have a place to out this, unless u wanna sell me those parts
haha
