Pretty basic, needs to be CLEAN. My stock hood has a bunch of small chips from driving around behind semi trucks on the mainland and it is the only part of my car that has not been either repainted or replaced... so it needs to happen.

If you don't mind a few chips on your hood I would be willing to trade, but mostly just looking for a stock or conservatively styled aftermarket hood already painted WRB.

try pm mark (rally_wrx)...he has i think a cusco hood that just needs to be painted..he's trying to get rid of it so im sure he'll let it go cheap, plus he can have it painted for you from a friend...get the details...


i still have my wrb bug eye hood in my closet since going cf...however slight imperfection. i'll take a pic tonite n post it up for you to decide...

so your hood only has rock chips ? small ones ?...got a pic ?

Yeah it's just a bunch of small chips right in the front of the hood from the previous owner ( apparently he liked tailing semi trucks because the whole front of the car had these small chips as well as the windshield, however both my front bumper and windshield have been replaced since )

The only problem is that I can't get the hood nice and polished, these little imperfections prevent it getting a mirror finish.
