I'm not sure if '05 STI suspensions are a direct retrofit.

If I were you, I would just spend a little extra money for some aftermarket struts. The sti strut tophats go bad with lowered springs and makes an irritating knock...kinda shame when you get chicks in an '05 and it knocks with every minor bump you hit. I have sti struts and tein s-techs and they were smooth for a while, but then I started having that problem. If you still want the sti struts, see if you can put your wrx tophats back on...this would mean that you no can trade though.

you just need to put a shim or spacer on before the nut that holds the tophat on and the clunck should go away. anyway GL randy...just go buy some already you chang ****.
