Talking WTB/lookin: EJ20 performance heads/components

i have a spare set of heads and i want to build em up for my EJ20... was wondering if anyone had any performance parts that could help me with this... ie: Cams, valves, springs/retainers, guides/seals, timing gears, and what ever i didnt mention that is reguired to build a head... should be gettin some extra $$ here real soon, and also tax time is otw so lemmie know what cha got or if you know anyone that might be able to help me out (parts or build wise)

don't think many people here are going to have that stuff just sitting around. you also need to have a plan and not just grab random parts that might not be the best together. research what you're after before you look at parts. buy for what you wanna build, don't build with what you can buy.

o yea i know im already lookin around and researching and such... i was just gonna see if anyone might have somethings that i was lookin for exactly... doubtful, but i figured it was worth a shot...

i dont think anyone makes timing gears for 02+ Suby's, since timing is controlled by the ECU. hence why we have coil packs.

lol i dont even know where to begin with using the adjustable aspect of those gears... just like i have no idea what +1mm valves are... dunno... but im tryin the best i can to figure this ish out so i dont eff ish up when i build this thing...

Haha, +1mm valves are pretty strait forward. They are +1mm larger in diameter; bigger port for intake or exhaust, the more air can pass through it with less restriction. Brian Crower makes some good parts for the heads of our cars. You can usually find the valve-train kits on ebay. Find a reasonable cam grind (not to agressive) and a machine shop to do the valve work on your heads and it could be rewarding.

wouls i need to get anything that matches the +1mm valves so they will function properly?? i was also lookin at the Brian Crower stage 3 cams 280/280... too aggressive?

Have the heads professionally inspected before using them; most 2.0 litre heads are prone to cracking around the spark plug hole.
