WTB: F/R Sway Bars / Coil-Overs...2004 STI

Interested in upgrading my handling...

I am looking at purchasing the Cobb Front/Rear Sway bars and a set of Coil-Overs...

Thought I would check to see if anyone has any used ones lying around that they would want to sell...

Thanks in Advance,

Brent

Thanks for the direction

$1700 is a little out of my price range right now...(I saw your comment earlier on it - sounds good)...how much are they normally?

Actually since posting...I think for an interim solution I will be purchasing Mr.STI's S-Techs and going the COBB fr/rr swaybar route...when the struts finally go...I'll be in a better financial situation...

Thanks Silver Satin,

why the cobb sways if you don't mind my asking? i don't know of anyone running the cobb's, is there something they have that nobody else does? anything that makes them worth the high price tag? just wondering

I like their design...

They use a hollow tube rather than the standard solid construction...they are typically stiffer than rival bars...according to Cobb's specs.

They also do a lot of R&D on their products and when purchased together (Front and Rears), you get predictable results. They designed both bars to be used in conjunction with one another...

As many companies and individuals say...the sti suspension is good...it can be made better but the result is in the eye of the beholder...feeling different is not necessarily better...I won't know if I like them until I try it...I'll leave a comment when I get them...

Umm I really doubt that cobb makes those bars. They relabel a lot of their stuff so I would go with Cusco or Perrin.

if you want hollow go with the hotchkis bars. they make a hollow one and it's hella cheaper than cobb. but hey if that what you want go for it. i think nate is running the perrin rear barand endlinks, not sure about his front. i will be running the perrin rear and endlinks tomorow(i hope).

Hmm...think I'll look into those...

Thanks for the info...

I thought about those other brands (Hotchkiss, Cusco, Whiteline...) For some reason I got caught up with the Cobbs...I'll do a little more research...

I'm running cusco rear sway and cusco TI strut bar. I'm pleased with it. Just be careful with rear sway flipping...make sure you get better endlinks and don't use the stock. Don't take the risk...I have whiteline rear endlinks. That is my $.02.
