Just put a short belt on the alternator. Bypass the ps pump temporarily. Then your car will run.
For correct length belt:
Put your alt in low position.
Figure one half of diameter of both pulleys. (diameter x 3.14)
Measure from center of alt pulley to center of crank pulley.
Double that measurement, then add half or the circumference of each pulley.
This will give you the total length of belt to use while you source the needed part.
