if its a bugeye than they are topfeed. unless of course he up graded his intake manifold to an STI? 04-07 Sti's I know for sure are side feeds.

id 1000's will set you up for a while unless you are running e85 with some hugenormous turbo. 2000's can only get to 12.something idle at 1% idc, no bueno.

at moment I want to limit my cars power till I build the block. 850's will have a better re-sale or better yet more people would be looking for 850s versus 1000's. eventually when the block is built and I can run e85 I can see myself completely jumping over 1000's and going to like 2000s
