WTB: '04 STI factory rear sway bar

Anybody upgrade their rear bar yet? Wanna sell the stocker?

UPDATE: Thanks to DrVotex! The STI rear sway on a FXT does help the sway/roll...my *** end feels more planted and the understeer is toned down a bit.

Hey Dan! Yup, from what I've been reading, the 20mm USDM STI rear sway fits the '04+ FXT and does wonders for it's handling! You wanna part with it?

What size is the XT stock bar....19mm???

If the stock STi bar will fit, then the Cusco bar should fit right?

The FXT stock bar is 17mm. The 20mm bar is rocommended to neutralize the understeering characteristics of the "Fridge". Yes, the Cusco bar should fit.

Hehe, I'll just set up a "hand me down" account with you Aaron! I upgrade as you upgrade! LOL!

btw...for those of you researching what an STI factory rear sway is worth, I can get a NEW one for about $93.00 and a used one for $75 plus a little shipping... I'd like to pay less than that if possible...I'm "pake" like dat! LOL!

If you guys got 'em, post up...if not, thanks for thinking of me! hahaha!

Russ

I'm willing to part with my STi sway bar for $50. You down for that. I guess I can go without the factory sway bar. I do need to keep the factory exhaust tho. Let me know.
