Would like to get the catback as my first mod,..bump for OEM STI catback wanted.


Sti intercooler would require other parts and a tune which i hope will shiw up sooner or later that is in good condition and price i can afford.

I believe later models 06+ including forester are catless...
Looking for Sti one though to keep with the theme but if you got a catless wrx one, let me know ur asking price amyways,...

STi intercooler doesn't require any other parts or a tune to function correctly. FWIW.

im pretty sure youll be fine. not like its a HUGE intercooler or FMIC.
should be fine to run for a while.

No. An IC only cools the intake air charge. Running a bigger IC just gives you a little more cooling. You can use that extra cooling to run more boost. You need to tune in order to fully take advantage of the extra cooling and boost that it allows you to run, but you don't NEED to. You just won't get much benefit from it, but it won't hurt anything.

They are correct, you do not "need" a tune for an upgraded TMIC but you will not see the full benefits. Check out this thread, it's the ultimate info for TMIC

Thanks for the info.
I will get it tuned once I get all the exhaust pieces, kn air filter, and STI TMIC put into place....gotta find an AP2 iast performance part after all in place...

I got a wrx wagon one. Small as hell but if its all you need it's yours for free
