Wanted to see if anyone has a compression gauge laying around that I may borrow for a weekend; need to do a compression check / possible leakdown on an 02 WRX


also tools and things I have to offer in trade (for future reference)

heat gun
cordless drill
dremel
ramps
oil filter clamps
standard hand tools and what not
my knowledge and expertise

just trying to encourage an install day!

You can get one at sears for really cheap or Oreilys...

 

put 100 bucks on the side and get all the toys, you'll need them in the future anyways so it's a good idea to own them

 

thanks for the tips guys - i think ive located one...

i usually run with the "rule of 3's", if i have to borrow it a 3rd time, i'm buying it. compression tester is for a friend, i'll be handling the work however; plus i'd buy all the toys n tools if i had a place to do any wrenching..(when im back in sac!) lol
