SOLD: 2008 Kawasaki ZX-6R SE

I’m thinking about selling my 2008 Kawasaki ZX-6R Special Edition bike – I figured that I’d try here before hassling with CL. It just turned over 2,000 miles (yup, just over 2K) and has never been dropped, stunted or raced. I bought it about 2 years ago from a guy who’s older and pickier than me; all the upgrades were done professionally and he took really good care of the bike, it’s always been in a covered garage. The previous owner is shorter than me at around 5’ 5” so he had the bike lowered and the kickstand shortened. I’m 5’8” and can put my feet flat on the ground with knees slightly bent.

There are many aftermarket parts on the bike including a Yoshimura exhaust with carbon fiber can, smoked windscreen, Scorpio SR-i900 alarm, HID lights, ASV levers, frame sliders and swingarm spools. I have most (if not all) of the stock parts and have a brand new factory seat that the previous owner was going to scoop out but never got to.

In addition to the stock parts I have a cover for the bike, a Pitbull swingarm stand, chain lube, motor oil, Battery Tender trickle charger and a stunt cage that was on the bike when I got it. As mentioned, the previous owner is really picky about his stuff and was worried about dropping the bike so he had a stunt cage installed. Not sure if anyone would be interested but I also have 2 pairs of boots (U.S. size 9), one by Alpinestars that came with the bike and the other is the Sidi Fusion that I bought because the Alpinestars were too big to fit under jeans.

NOTE: I have one issue with the bike; there is a slow leak in the rear tire. It is so slow (about 1 PSI per day) that the Kawasaki dealer couldn’t find it. If I fill the tire to the recommended 42 PSI and go riding, then let the bike cool down when I get home, the tire will still show 42 PSI. If, however, I check it a week later it will be down 5 – 7 PSI. I didn’t want to pay to have the tire remounted so I was just going to live with it until it was time to change the tire.

The title is clear, registration and safety check were just paid for in July and the fork seals were changed when the safety check was done. I’m asking $5,500>SOLD, please PM me if you are interested or have any questions. Here is an older pic of the bike, it looks the same as it has been kept clean and waxed in my garage but I’ll post more current pictures if anyone wants (some might have trouble viewing the pics because of my pic host; PM me if you want pics e-mailed to you). Thanks.
