I am thinking that I want a truck... we already have 2 cars.. and we are always wanting to move stuff... I just picked up a project jeep and I will be needing a truck a lot more than usual... cause the jeep will not be streetable for some time. And her car is a Lease, no way of getting rid of that thing. I am also thinking maybe keep the sti and just get a beater truck to use to fix up the beater jeep. thats just tooooo many cars

You know you can just rent a truck when you need to haul right?

I usually do that when the Wagon can't carry what I need.

 

I've never seen the point of owning a truck and daily driving it so that you can haul stuff twice a year

my girlfriends mom has a Dodge Hemi, they bought it for hauling horses which they haven't done in yeaaaars.

rented a nice truck from enterprise one weekend to carry some stuff back from SF. Cost me a bit more than I wanted to pay but I'd hate to be the guy everyone calls to move **** for them. Everyone wants to have a truck but no one wants to be everyones truck guy. Not worth it in my opinion.

 

yup.. agreed, i had a pickup in high school and everyone and they're moms wanted me to move ****. its definately not worth it unless you move lots of crap at least once a week and(or) need to have 4x4 to drive in the snow.
