Testing Waters - 96 Impreza LX
Ok heres the deal so far my car is currently down and not running at the moment.
Last time it started but boggs out and dies.
The CEL is on and the codes are MAF and barrow meter.
I also disabled the airbag system due to the newer style 02+ WRX dash and cannot use the passenger side airbag since it wont fit.
I really want to keep the car but dont have the money to slap in a new motor and its just been sitting here. The registration 9/10 and safty expired 10/10 so it is back tax a bit.
I dont want to part it out but if I can get enough people to buy parts I will do a part out.
I want to sell the car as a whole but imo unfinished project shouldn't be sold to someone who will ack what they never built from stock.
You can look at the list of what I have on my car in My Garage and tell me what you want and ill give you a price.
I plan to part or sell as a whole parts car (offer me a price) around August, but thats if I cant find a motor to replace it.
Wish I could use it for SCCA or TT when we get a track.

I will let yall know in Auguest if I plan to sell or part out.
If I do sell the whole car, I would let it go for $1800.
It would only be good for SCCA or TA courses when we get one LOL... just needs a motor swap and full coilovers with a rear brace.
My car turns in smooth but I can feel the back needs a muli point brace, since the front is stiffer then the rear in my car.
Man I miss the TOUGE!
If I do sell the whole car, I would let it go for $1800.

I have no choice but to sell. like I said unless I come up with the money to buy another motor. I can do the swap myself just not electrical LOL.
