testing the waters - 86 Civic SCCA car

This is for people that would like a very serious SCCA Solo II type car. The car is a 1986 Honda Civic Si that has a *** spec trans and B16A engine swap. The poly engine mounts, wiring harness, and ECU are from Hasport along with the beefed up front axles and CV joints. The engine also has a complete MSD ignition which includes a SCI box, external coil, 8.5 wire set, and special MSD cap.
The suspension on this car is amazing. To start off with, the car has yellow adjustable Koni coilovers with Ground Control springs front and rear. The rear springs are 500lb springs, I'm not sure what the fronts are. The car also has oversize torssion bars up front. This car handles like it's on rails and easily out does my STi around the tight Solo II type tracks.
The body is wrecked on the drivers side front but is easily fixable. I found a web site that sells all the damaged parts and it will cost around 300 bucks to get all the damaged parts to repair the car. The most expensive part is going to be the front windshield, which got cracked from the accident. Other than the widshield and wrecked drivers side, the body is in nice shape. The car is presently primed flat black. The interior is pretty much striped and has the front seats, dash, Momo steering wheel, and door panels.
This car just needs a little TLC to become an awesome race car. There are things that need fixing. The most important is the drivers side motor mount - it is deterorating badly and needs to be replaced with a new Hasport unit. The steering rack is also old and needs to be replaced. The brakes on this car are it's only weak point, they are bone stock. The brakes will have to be upgraded. All in all, this is a fun car to drive. This car whieghs 1862lbs with a 185lb driver. All unecissary whieght has been taken out - this is a true race car and it's waiting for someone to take her. I'm leaving the island on the 18th of this month and would sell this car for the right price. I'm asking 3000. If anyone is interested - send me a PM. If I do sell this car, it will not be untill the 18th of July. The car has a clean title and a good saftey inspection. Right now I'm just seeing if anyone would be interested in a car like this.
