I have a turbo but the small *** one I want to set it up to wear it runs about 12 psi easy

 

It's already running 14-15psi stock, you could always get a MBC and just turn it up to 18 or so but power would drop off at about 5000 rpm. Or you could buy the vf39 and supporting mods and run 18-22 psi and it will pull to redline.

 

some reason it's way slow help anyone?

 

Is it underboosting? What is the maximum and minimum boost you see at full throttle? Do you hear any whistling or sounds of air escaping? Any knock? When was the last time you changed your oil? Are you using premium gas?

At the very least describe the problem a little more in depth, how is the car slow? Has it been faster in the past? When is the car slow, what rpm?

Do you have any engine mods or are you completely stock?

 

pretty much stock Wrx with turbo and air intake it jumps at like 4500 but at higher rpm seems to die rode in my buddies and was way faster use pre only on gas and synthetic oil

 

So... it has an aftermarket intake? Okay, your probably running lean/rich. The stock turbo should spool ( VRRORRRRROOOoooommm ) at about 2500-3000rpm, not 4500. However the power dropping off significantly in the higher rpm is normal, small turbo = less top end power.

Comparing car A to car B and saying car B was faster without any background of car B doesn't work either. He could have done something as simple as flashed a stage 1 map and it would smoke the crap out of yours, who knows.

I'm going to say its just stock, and apparently it isn't exciting enough. If you want a professional opinion I would say make a post in the main forum or take it down to R&D and have them check it out.

Buy a Cobb Access Port, they come with pre-loaded maps as well as give you the opportunity to get a professional tune sometime. You can get version 1 AP's for fairly cheap, even v2's are going for cheap now. I would check on the nasioc for sale forums or ask around locally here.
