For sale: 1998 2.5 RSti widebody project.
This time it's for real !!
Hello everyone, want to sell my long time project.
The car has been sitting for about two years now.
Plates in storage, title in hand. Asking 11k o.b.o.
Most of you know this car and it's history.
For those who don't here are a few highlights.
I am the original owner,a little over 120k on the chassis.
Drivetrain is out of an 04 Sti, with just around 12k on it.
Motor has ARP head studs installed. Needs timing belt tensioner.
Greddy headers,Sti up pipe,Megan racing down pipe.
Otherwise motor is stock. Have a 16g evo 3 turbo with low miles.
Exhaust is an old 3" sheep dog with an N1 muffler.
Currently running Apex i AVCR boost controller.
No interior,no a/c. Car was built with the intention of racing it.
Suspension: Cusco 02r's with adjustable camber pillowball hats.
Cusco triangle rear brace,JDM Sti carbon fiber front strut bar.
Aerosims carbon fiber widebody. Not the best install, but like I said this car was built with the intention of racing it.
The rear fenderwells were cut to match the arch of the kit, never sealed this up.
So that is all I feel like typing right now, currently the car is in pieces.
Oh did I forget to mention that ?? LOL !!! I want to be done with it, so if you want it, you get it as is. I have a truck,so if you want it, I'll help you get it where ever you want.
The car is a proven winner at the SCCA,so if you are a racer this is a great car. If you want to build a show car,I'm not gonna lie. You need to do some work and spend some money.
I was just gonna replace the stock clutch, and timing belt tensioner.
The car is currently tuned open source, and was running fine before we pulled the motor. It was overheating,so I thought it was the head gasket.
The motor and radiator had a lot of calcium build up,which was probably the cause of the overheating. Ryan, formerly of vakamon installed the ARP studs.
Feel free to PM me or call or text 808-728-3162.

HOLY HELL OMFG Fran

First Jess, then my friend Ryan, then you now Francis. Is Big D and Jared next in line? SMH lol
Anyways, I was honored to have shared memories with your GC STi and Jess's GC STi. I can vouch for this car. Ryan from Old Vakamon and Big D assisted in putting this race car together.
May the Subaru Gods Bless your car to get sold to non-douche bag.

Wow. I spy an RD sticker. Man I miss those days. Such a great shop. Vakamon!
Anyhow, love the car, and the idea you set for it and actually following through with the build! GLWS! And yes.. I pray it doesn't end up with a douche.
