quick time performance downpipe

does anyone know if the qtp downpipe is worth the money? I am running my helix(catless) downpipe through my stock exhaust right now. HOw much more performance would you get out of it rather than just running a straight pipe exhaust?

^^^ I don't mean to sound like a jerk Rudy, but the fastest time has less to do with the downpipe... It's more from his launching and tuning skills. Okay, I'm done.

Well here in Oahu, I know of 2 iclubers who have the QTP and have showed positive results on the tracks.... If anything get with Releasedakraken... Perfect example...he is now running low 13's, One of the best bang for the buck in the market now is the QTP and PDE downpipe .... Thanks

Its an awesome product because it has a switch that will open a valve and be straight up race pipe, Once you are done hit the switch and back to normal....Thats a true sleeper mod....

If you're running an aftermarket DP w/stock catback, you're not going to be realizing the proper gains as the piping will be tapering to the stock diameter after the DP. You're ultimately restricting the flow. If you get a larger diameter (i.e. 3") catback exhaust, then you'll really feel the gains. Do you have a WRX or WRX STi? If you have the WRX, upgrade to a solid uppipe if you already haven't.

The QTP is awesome if you intend to race it. If you run that thing w/the bypass on daily, expect to blacken the underside of your car. It will sound AWESOME and raw.

Same point of view... back pressure restriction? definitely a full turbo back is a setup to consider besides assembling piece by piece an exhaust system to gain performance...
