LTB or WTB: CAI for a 2.5 2004 RS

Either a Cold Air Intake or a short ram would do good, I kinda dont know if a STI one will work since both are the same size engine, jus the RS is a cam short. If anyone got info or prices, or sites I could go to, be very appreciated. Mahalo.

I have a Cobb-Tuning Cold Air Intake on my 02 2.5Rs.......Sorry it's not for sale ........But I love it !!!!!check out www.cobbtuning.com..... It priced at $269....I know,I know, its a lot of money for an intake, but cobb tuning makes the best tuning parts for 2.5rs....here is a pic of my intake .....

If I had the money I'd get the cobb for sure. For poor people like me though I made my own. Got the pipe on ebay for $22 shipped w/ a genaric filter. Had to cut the pipe a little and buy $5 worth of hose but I noticed significantly more pull once I installed it. You'd probley get slight more power from the cobb, but I'd spend the $200 extra on a rear swaybar and endlinks. Plus the stock air box on my 99 RS was very ugly. I'm not sure what it looks like on a 04 though.

A CAI from an STI won't fit an RS, there's no turbo or IC to go to

Go with that free one for now, and see if Jayson kept his old filter. Then clean the filter up and there you go until you can buy one from cobb.

You can get a larry"ganzaflow" intake for $140 shipped. You retain the stock airbox for a quieter intake. I like mine, but might upgrade soon. You can check it out here http://imprezars.com/ganzflowintake.htm .

I threw that filter away. It was the $30 one from speed gear and it was total crap. When I took it off I had a huge ammount of dust inside the intake. All fine particles that must have passed right threw the filter.

Well, I'm guaging interest if any one (Kaleo003) is interested in my Polished Larry "Ganzaflow" intake w/ blue silicone couplings and K&N Panel filter. Pricing $120/obo. This intake is less than 6k on it.

No one is interested? The piping itself is $140 and the K&N Panel filter is $50. I will sell both for $100 with a trade of your stock box bracket.

OK...I really need to get rid of this. I just picked up an injen. So I am open to offers. If not, it's going on ebay.
