Actually...

Depending on your downpipe, both the Cobb and HKS can be pretty loud...if you want to tame the sound level, use a catted dp along with it...the catalytic converter mellows the sound out quite a bit...

The Cobb, HKS, Greddy Evo/Evo2, Fujitsubo to name a few, sound fairly "quiet" with a catted dp...they are a completely different animal with a bell mouth open dp.

If you want just a quite catback...go with the Maddad Whisper in either the single or dual tip...they are pretty quiet even with an open dp. Stets bought Steve (Releasedakraken) old STI...he has an open dp with the Whisper...check his out.

I just listened to Luis's STI from Cali...he has the Blitz Nur-Spec Touring on his STI...that was pretty quiet as well...even with a fully built/twin scroll motor!

But like Accord N WRX said above...

if you want quiet...stick to either the stock WRX or STI catback...with a stock turbo setup, it will be just fine...
