The Borla Hush isn't all that quiet (using a catless dp)...but maybe it's just the sleeper look you are interested in...

You could have a silencer built by ESH...for around $40...just throw that on (you will definitely feel the restriction though, but not puttering around Waikiki) when you are in the "Trainee Happy" areas...then pull it off when out...usually just 1 screw holds it in...something to think about..

For me, I wanted an extended use quiet exhaust with the ability to thrown on my APS cannister...so I had the Cobb retrofitted on...with the built in resonator on the APS mid-pipe...it's just louder than stock...but much better performing than if I threw the silencer into the APS...can you imagine going from 3.5" piping to 1.5" exit...very bad...

 

I have a Hush, but the resonator has been ditched, ha ha.

I used to use the silencer (on my espelir) when i puttered through waikiki.. then pulled it off as
soon as a got out..
