Long shot but Need a radiator.

looking for aftermarket on that will bolt right up without extra purchase of other parts.
my 06 sti stock radiator just crapped out on me. the seem at the top just started to leak. so not looking for a stock one. dont wanna run into the same crap again.

i know its a longshot but if it ends up with me ordering one then its fine. recommendations for radiators are welcome and appreciated also. thanks iclub.

Mishimotos are terrible quality.

Get a Koyo OEM replacement. They are like $150.

really? not being sarcastic but my friend has been running a mishimoto in his 06 sti for a long time. its been doing its job and cools better than stock.
koyo has great radiators, there aftermarket ones are pretty pricey though.
and i dont really want an oem replacement rad. the seams tend to go bad in the future. ive seen some aftermarket oem replacement charge air coolers and radiators leak in the loong run. not looking to go that route.

Mishimoto has fitment problems, their caps leak (not a big issue), have issues with spot leaks along the welds, and they used to have problems with the drain plug rotting.

The OEM core has lasted you this long, do you plan on keeping your car for another +100k miles?

fittment was perfect on my friends sti. everything bolted right up. and yes youre right about the radiator cap leaking. and yeah you got a point about the life of the radiator. but just even the fact that the seams are more prone to leaking compared to an all aluminum radiator, makes me wanna stay away from oem replacement radiators.

My mishimoto went right in with no fitment issue. Only issue was the little hose that goes from near the cap to the lines that head near the coolant reservoir too short for
The mishimoto. Also the radiator cap decal came off so I super glued it back.

Mishimoto are good. The cap I have seen fail before but they have a lifetime warranty iirc. And the cap fix is easy. Just get a better one. Also do u really plan in dishing out the money for a KOYO?
