This is a long term project so no hurries.
Just seeing what is available now and if anyone plans on putting one up in the near future.
Will pay the $ and hold out for a nice one.
I have this up on a few sites so please send me a PM.
Thanks for looking
Erica
BTW it is for the 2.5i so non turbo pls

Is it out & ready?
I am hoping to find something with really low miles (less labor in the long run) so if you still have it in a few months I will be in touch.
Thanks for the quick response.

Tranny is out and ready to be sold now. I was going to originally use this but decided on going another route instead for my swap.

Jess I think Rahul was referring to the whole idea of putting the tranny into my 2.5i.
Rahul, yeah it is impractical but they really want to do it and it is the only thing he is interested doing that car related so I am just stepping back on this one.

not sure but you may want to check the rear end too. that might have to be swapped as well. i know from shaggy's "experiment" that it should bolt up fine but if the ratio in the rear diff is too different it may cause you trouble later. GL though with it and happy hunting

that is correct she will have to get the matching rear diff........ECS has got them for cheap since they have a lot kicking around from swaps.

yup, everything I read said the only way to do it correctly is to do front & back.
lol, I do not want one of those "hybrid" cars that kinda work most of the time.
I am sure we are going to end up ordering most stuff but I figured I would look around for lightly used just in case. Thanks for the input.

Erica,
the final drive of the rear diff and tranny have to match up, period. if you dont then you will have problems. LMK
