You know, the one that's sitting down there acting as a door stop and gathering dog hair. I have Mac and Linux machines and need to run one stupid Win program mobilly. All it needs is XP or Win 7 and be REALLY cheap.

 

thought about running parallels on the mac? It's what I ended up doing instead of getting another laptop. I'm running xp on parallels, you can run whatever windows OS you want as long as you have an image of the OS on your computer. At least thats how I run it.

 

Can't use my 27" iMac in the car. My extension cord runs out before I get through second gear and I need to log third.

 

THAT might be a problem.. LOL. Well good luck finding one!

if its linux, install virtualbox package from virtualbox.org, install windows, install the extension to make usb work if you need it, presto...

 

after reading the entire post... <dork level=10> I might have one lying around that you can use, but I have to see if it even powers up at the moment.

In the $40 an a taco range. And for specs all it needs is to be able to run XP or W7. Just need to do some logs on my car and figure out why it's misfiring before I throw more parts at it.

 

if thats all you need i have one you can borrow for how ever long you need. i have no clue where my tactrix cable is so you are on your own there. come to kailua and pick it up if you want to use it
